Within this gallery you will
see a small sampling of the type of signs we make and the
materials we commonly use. Some are very small and others
are quite monumental. In essence, we are only limited by the
daring nature of our customers. Plus, there is a suitable
material for every application.
High-density urethane, Sign Foam, is the most versatile material
we use. It can be hand-carved with ease, machined, routed
and sandblasted. It accepts any kind of paint finish and is
perfect for jobs where texture and dimension are a major goal.
It’s non-shrink/non-swell, no rot, water impervious
qualities make it outlast redwood by years. It’s also
extremely lightweight.
A newer material now coming into common use is Extira. It
tools and machines much like Sign Foam but offers a much harder
and sturdier composition. Extira performs well in high traffic
areas, is structurally sound and is also very long lasting
with non-rot, anti-insect and water repellent qualities.
Another mainstay of our material arsenal is laminated multi-colored
plastic. This material makes exceptionally durable signs.
It is often used in parks and high traffic areas where vandalism
and graffiti may happen. The slippery surface allows it to
be cleaned with ease and usually with just soap and water.
We typically router carve this material to expose the inner
layer of contrasting color.
Vinyl lettering is a large part of our business. Here we
produce everything from simple small signs to massive truck
graphics and construction site signage. We use a variety of
substrates in vinyl applications including MDO plywood, aluminum
clad corrugated plastic, PVC, banners and simple plastics.
We often rely on other manufactures to produce cast brass
or bronze and plastic formed letters and logos. These we install
to customer specifications. A huge selection of finishes and
colors are available.
Customers love to challenge us. This makes for exciting times.
Be it bevel-carved yacht steps, architectural building elements
or even weathervanes, we thrive on problem solving and are
willing to tackle the most complex project. How may we assist
you in your signage needs?
